President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of North Macedonia, Roussos Koundouros, at a farewell meeting.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski expressed satisfaction with the mutual commitment to the development of the partnership between the two countries and emphasized the contribution of the Prespa Agreement to building good neighborly relations and cooperation.
The interlocutors exchanged opinions and information on the process of opening the accession negotiations, where President Pendarovski thanked the Hellenic Republic for its unequivocal support. Moreover, the meeting discussed the current developments in the region and Europe, the consequences of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as the economic and energy crisis.
President Pendarovski thanked Ambassador Koundouros for his engagement and commitment, as well as for the constructive cooperation in improving the relations between the two countries and wished him success in his future career.
