At the invitation of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, on August 12 and 13, 2021, His Excellency, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, is paying a visit to our country.
During the visit, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa was received today by President Stevo Pendarovski.
The meeting discussed the activities of the Muslim World League aimed at promoting Islamic tolerance, dialogue and cooperation with all religions, which leads to overcoming growing prejudices and providing conditions for peace and coexistence. In that context, President Pendarovski welcomed the international activities of Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, acknowledging his personal commitment to promoting moderate Islamic values around the world.
At the same time, President Pendarovski assessed that the visit is an opportunity to establish dialogue and cooperation with the Muslim World League, emphasizing that our country has a deep-rooted tradition of inter-religious tolerance, respect for different religious beliefs and fostering religious freedoms.
