Eleven talented students from primary and secondary schools, from the field of informatics, including students who won first, second or third place in international competitions in this field with their mentors, were part of the “Open Cabinet for Talented Students” activity in Ohrid this weekend, in cooperation with the Association of Informatics of Macedonia.
The students, together with their mentors, had the opportunity to visit Villa Biljana in Ohrid, where they were presented with historical data about the building, were informed about the work and responsibilities of President Pendarovski, and visited the rooms where official and work meetings are held. The visitors had the opportunity to meet and talk personally with President Pendarovski and his wife, Elizabeta Gjorgievska.
Moreover, the students had two expert sessions that included a presentation and solutions from the International Informatics Olympiad, as well as work with talented students.
The participants of the “Open Cabinet for Talented Students” also visited the cultural and historical sights of Ohrid.
The Cabinet of the President, in view of supporting talented students, will continue to organize more activities that will value and stimulate their work and achieved results.
