On the eve of December 3, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Open Cabinet activity took place today in which the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia was visited by students with atypical development from the “Gjorgi Sugarev” Primary School from Bitola.
The students met with President Pendarovski and his wife, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, and shared their wishes, hobbies, interests and favorite activities within the educational process.
In the conversation with the special educators and rehabilitators, President Pendarovski and Mrs. Gjorgievska got acquainted with the ongoing projects of the Center to support the learning of children with disabilities, which, within the Bitola primary school, enable inclusiveness, personal development and individual upgrading of students.
The President and his Wife thanked the students for their visit, wishing them to pursue their dreams and constantly strive to achieve their goals.
The visitors had the opportunity to visit the working premises of President Pendarovski, as well as the Mosaic hall with the diptych “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia Remembers” by our artist – academician Gligor Chemerski.
The Open Cabinet is part of the Face to Face with the President project, within which the institution is visited by citizens of different ages, professions and occupations, students from the country and abroad, as well as students from primary and secondary schools.
