President Pendarovski visits Kavadarci as part of the “Face to Face with the President” project

President Stevo Pendarovski visited today the municipality of Kavadarci as part of the “Face to Face with the President” project.

In the High School “Dobri Daskalov” – Kavadarci, President Pendarovski watched the performance of the school orchestra that won the first place in a competition of choirs, orchestras and bands from secondary schools, recently held in Valandovo. The President congratulated the members of the orchestra for this high recognition, expressing confidence that their high motivation and strong musical potential will undoubtedly lead them to significant successes in the future.

During the visit to the high school in Kavadarci, the President met with Majkl Georgievski, a student with numerous awards and recognitions in the field of natural and mathematical sciences, with Blaze Ignatovski, a student attorney, who, together with his deputies Danka Stojkova and Filip Popov, takes care of protection and implementation of student rights within the educational process. At the meeting, the importance of their function in promptly noting possible irregularities in the internal relations between classmates, such as certain forms of discrimination, hate speech or peer violence, was emphasized.

During his stay in Kavadarci, President Pendarovski visited “351 Studio”, one of the brands of the Macedonian company “Sky Eye Entertainment”, which in almost a decade has produced over 3800 unique video solutions, collaborating with world-famous music names and the largest publishing houses such as Warner Music, Universal Music and Sony Music. President Pendarovski expressed satisfaction that the creativity of these young people is recognized and valued worldwide, especially considering the strong competition and dynamic development of this industry.

In Moklishte, on the eve of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the massacre in Vatasha, President Pendarovski paid his respects by laying fresh flowers in front of the monument to 12 young people who were killed on 16 June 1943 by the Bulgarian fascist occupier.
