The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, in order to support humanity and solidarity in our society announces a call for food and hygiene products to support the citizens of the most vulnerable categories at social risk, affected by the crisis caused by the corona virus epidemic.
Under the motto “We Are Here, We Serve the Community, We Help Each Other!” #WeAreHere #OneForTheOther, we call citizens, socially responsible companies, civil society organizations, diplomatic missions in the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as international organizations and institutions, in accordance with their capabilities and resources, are invited to join this initiative to provide the necessary assistance to as many of our fellow citizens as possible.
The products shall be donated in the Office of the President – “Mladi Hub” in the center of Skopje, which will be fully adapted to the logistical needs, as well as to the partners involved in this initiative.
The Office will work three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), and volunteers will take care of the reception of the products, as well as the preparation of the humanitarian packages and their distribution. The volunteers will respect all safety protocols prescribed and recommended by the Government and the World Health Organization, including physical distance, ventilation, disinfection, hand washing and wearing protective equipment (masks and gloves).
Mladi Hub Office working hours – a volunteer support center with humanitarian packages for citizens at social risk, affected by the crisis caused by the corona virus epidemic:
– Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 – receipt of products;
– Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 – preparation and distribution of humanitarian packages.
All interested parties in joining the initiative may donate canned and packaged food, cleaning and laundry products, personal hygiene items and disinfectants.
The delivery of the humanitarian packages to previously determined citizens, extremely socially disadvantaged individuals, shall be done in close cooperation with the partners, whereby the protocols for protection and prevention shall be respected, based on the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia experience.
