On the World Day of Roma Language, we stress the importance of nurturing the Roma language as a guardian of tradition, folklore and culture. Showing the essence of the Roma way of life, their stories and their values, the Roma language provides a bridge to the diverse heritage of the Roma community.
Support for nurturing the Roma language is important not only for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Roma community, but also is a way to strengthen and enrich our multicultural society. The improvement of the overall educational process of Roma children and the provision of appropriate conditions is of crucial importance for the further cultivation of the Roma language.
