President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, within the framework of her participation in the Climate Change Summit (COP29) in Baku, had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, and the focus of the talks was the European integration process.
President Siljanovska Davkova expressed the determination of the Macedonian side for further development and strengthening of the strong partnership with the Czech Republic, both at the bilateral and multilateral political level, as well as in the domain of economic cooperation.
President Siljanovska Davkova expressed her gratitude for the principled and consistent Czech support for the Macedonian European integration, assessing the Czech Republic as an important partner and strong supporter of the EU enlargement process.
At the meeting, President Siljanovska Davkova indicated the need for the EU to be clear and unwavering in its strategy for expansion towards the Western Balkans, leaving no room for ambiguities.
