President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday of the Resurrection of Christ – Easter, which this year is celebrated on the same day by all citizens of Christian faith in the world, sent congratulation messages to the heads of the Churches in the country: the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia and of Justinian Prima, His Holiness Stefan, to the Bishop of Skopje and Diocese of Strumica-Skopje of the Catholic Church, Dr. Kiro Stojanov, as well as to Dr. Emil Zaev, President of the Church Representation of the Evangelical Methodist Church.

I have a special pleasure and great honor to congratulate you, personally and to the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, the venerable monasticism and clergy, as well as the Orthodox faithful, on the greatest Christian holiday – Easter and to wish you to spend it in good health, love, joy and happiness.
The Resurrection of Christ, as the pillar of faith, has been a symbol of life for every Christian for two millennia and strengthens our faith and hope, inspiring us to cultivate spirituality and to give love to everyone and everywhere.
During the Easter fast, an unprecedented tragedy occurred in the modern history of our homeland. I sincerely hope that Easter will bring us comfort, good thoughts and optimism united and in solidarity to overcome temptations.
Let us show that from misfortune and adversity we can emerge wiser, better and more humane. Let us do good deeds and help all who need help and support.
